The Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center
Capital
Campaign
With the completion of the renovations and addition of the Center in 2008, a new
exhibit phase of the campaign began to raise $570,000 to build new educational
exhibits for the facility. The design work for the new exhibits was
completed in December of 2009. The construction of the new entrance sign
and gift shop area was completed in the spring of 2010 through the generous
support of the Sky Bight Foundation and Covanta Energy.
