New Millennium Capital Campaign

The New Millennium Capital Campaign is an integrated plan to secure the financial and natural resources necessary to provide a broad base of classroom enrichment programs for schools and families about the environment, the resources people use and the cultural history of our area.

Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut throughout its 30 years of operation, has continued to move forward by broadening the scope of its services and the size of its land holdings. Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut serves 30,000 students in educational programs each school year and has served a total of 475,000 students in its 30 years of operation. An additional 14,000 people are served each year through scout programs, summer camp and other programs.  Once implemented the new millennium capital campaign will enable Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut to serve an additional 82,000 students and 17,000 visitors each year.
