School Field Trips

Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, prides itself on providing Environmental Education throughout the state of Connecticut. Last year, over 180 Connecticut schools enhanced their educational programs by using our naturalists and our facilities.

Our staff consists of environmental education professionals who encourage discovery and exploration through hands-on experiences. We have two facilities, both located in Bristol, that provide an excellent environment for a learning experience.

The Indian Rock Nature Preserve is located on Route 69 in Bristol, ½ mile north of the Wolcott/Bristol line.

The Barnes Nature Center is located on Shrub Road in Bristol.
