Recognition Mechanisms
For Leadership Gifts
New Nature Preserve
In recognition of funding the property acquisition and
management fund of a new nature preserve the preserve would be named by the
donor. Name approval would be agreed upon by donor and ELCCT at the time of
gift.
Named Endowment Fund
A special endowment fund would be created that would be
named by the donor. Name approval would be agreed upon by donor and ELCCT at
the time of gift. A pledge schedule will be agreed upon by both parties.
Indian Rock Education Center New Building
The new building at the Indian Rock Nature Preserve would
be named by the donor. Name approval would be agreed upon by donor and ELCCT at
the time of gift. Inside the new building would be a dedication area in the
entrance lobby and outside the building on its entrance face would be a sign.
Connecticut Environments Hall
The new Connecticut
Environments Hall at the Barnes Nature Center would be named by the donor. Name
approval would be agreed upon by donor and ELCCT at the time of gift. Inside
the new building would be a dedication area.
Renaming of Orchard
House
The Orchard House Activity
Center would be renamed by the donor. Name approval would be agreed upon by
donor and ELCCT at the time of gift. Inside the building would be a dedication
area.
Livestock Barn
In recognition of a
$250,000 gift, the Livestock barn would be named by the donor. Name approval
would be agreed upon by donor and ELCCT at the time of gift. Inside the barn
would be a dedication area.
Name New Laboratories, Classrooms and Workshops
In recognition of the gift,
a laboratory, classroom, or workshop at the Indian Rock New Education Center or
Orchard House activity building would be named by the donor. Name approval would
be agreed upon by donor and ELCCT at the time of gift. In the space would be a
dedication plaque.
Name a Trail
A
selected trail at a nature preserve will be named by the donor. Name approval
would be agreed upon by donor and ELCCT at the time of gift.
Sponsor an Exhibit
A plaque would be placed in
the exhibit area selected. The plaque would read this exhibit is funded by a
gift from ____________.
Classroom Equipment
A plaque would be placed in
the classroom area for which the selected equipment would be used. The plaque
would read this exhibit is funded by a gift from ____________.
Scientific Equipment
(measuring instruments, tools, video projection)

Botanical Collection
