Our Mission |

ELCCT
has a dual mission of environmental education and land
preservation. We are striving to create a better tomorrow for
the people of Connecticut by instilling a sound environmental
ethic within our children and by preserving natural areas within
the state. |

Environmental
Education |
|
ELCCT offers a diversity of
hands-on experiential programs using a variety of resources and
facilities. Our programs are offered at the Barnes Nature
Center, Indian Rock Nature Preserve and in the schools of
Connecticut.
In 2001, we provided our
environmental educational programs to over 31,000 children and
families from over 69 Connecticut communities!
