After School Scout Programs

Programs can be used to complete scout requirements while increasing their knowledge of and respect for nature.  After school programs can be scheduled at either the Indian Rock Nature Preserve or the Barnes Nature Center.  We can tailor our programs to meet the needs and age level of your group.  Our programs are designed to be active, exciting and educational.

Programs may be scheduled between 3p.m. and 5p.m. Monday through Friday or between 8:30a.m. and 5p.m. on days when school is not in session.  Group size is limited to 20 children per instructor.  The length of the program is typically 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on the topic selected and the requirements to be completed.  The fee for a 1 1/2 hour program is $105 and a 2 hour program is $140.  Please note:  Badges are not included.   

Topics include:  Native Americans, Outdoor Skills, Wildlife Programs, Farm Life Experiences, Star Lab Exploration and Nature Explorations.
